The race is on to secure a spot in the cruise industry’s most prestigious honours, with nominations now open for the 23rd Annual Cruise Industry Awards for Australasia.

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced that just a few weeks remain to nominate for the 2026 awards, which will shine a spotlight on excellence, innovation and talent across the region’s booming cruise sector.

CLIA Managing Director Australasia Joel Katz urged members not to miss their chance to be recognised. “We want to celebrate new talent and creativity alongside the most dedicated professionals in our industry,” Katz said. “A CLIA Award is a spectacular way to gain recognition and boost your career, so we encourage members to nominate themselves or a colleague who deserves to be honoured.”

The 23rd Annual Cruise Industry Awards will feature 14 categories, including nine open to peer or self-nomination, recognising outstanding achievements across Australia and New Zealand.

This year’s winners will be revealed at a glittering gala celebration on Saturday 7 March 2026, held for the first time at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.

Open to all current CLIA travel agent members in Australia and New Zealand, nominations close Friday 21 November 2025.
