Sno’n’Ski Holidays has hosted a group of top-selling agents from Australasia on a famil across four diverse Japanese ski resorts.
The nine-night tour covered Shizukuishi, Naeba, Shiga Kogen and Hakuba, plus a stopover in Tokyo.
The group experienced hidden-gem resorts, untouched powder, world-class dining, varied accommodation and uniquely Japanese cultural moments.
The adventure began in Shizukuishi, a traditional resort in northern Honshu offering a quieter, more authentic Japanese ski experience. With ski-in, ski-out access at the Prince Hotel, agents wasted no time hitting the slopes!
“Shizukuishi was amazing! There are no lift lines, updated new rental Salomon gear at the hire shop and the buffet selection was awesome. I’d highly recommend CAT-skiing to experienced riders, what an epic way to explore untouched powder,” said participant Paul.
The group then travelled to Naeba, one of Japan’s fastest-growing ski destinations, located only a few hours from Tokyo.
“The facilities are excellent in Naeba, the view from my room was awesome and you are spoiled for choice when it comes to dining options… there are 46 restaurants to choose from!” said participant Ella.
From there, the agents explored the vast terrain of Shiga Kogen, Japan’s largest interconnected ski resort.
The final stop was Hakuba, one of Japan’s most famous alpine regions. Here, the group experienced a mix of terrain, vibrant après culture and standout accommodation.
“La Neige Hotel was a true five-star experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. I felt like Kevin from Home Alone at the New York Plaza Hotel in my fluffy robe and slippers!” commented Paul.
Beyond the slopes, the crew got a quick taste of Tokyo with a stopover at Villa Fontaine Haneda.
The Mega Famil showcased Japan’s unique blend of culture and convenience, from the vending machines and hidden whisky bars to massive thrift stores, snow monkeys and traditional alpine architecture.
