Swan Hellenic has announced a 32-night Antarctic Grand Voyage aboard the SH Minerva, offering travellers an epic expedition from Ushuaia, Argentina, to Dunedin, New Zealand.
The ‘Ultimate Antarctica Adventure’ departs February 3, 2027, and February 4, 2028, and promises a rare combination of wildlife, polar history, and remote landscapes, spanning the Antarctic Peninsula, the Ross Sea, and rarely visited destinations like Peter I Island.
Highlights include the Lemaire Channel, the historic Bay of Whales, the southernmost Adélie penguin colonies, and sightings of humpback, fin, and minke whales. Guests can also explore Sub-Antarctic islands, including Snares Island, home to the rare Snares Crested Penguin, before reaching Dunedin.
Swan Hellenic also offers an optional 13-night ‘New Zealand in Depth’ extension, taking travellers along Milford Sound, Abel Tasman National Park, Kaikoura, and the Bay of Islands, starting at $11,100 per person.
“This is one of the most comprehensive Antarctic expedition voyages ever offered,” said CEO Andrea Zito. “It’s a Grand Voyage in every sense, blending discovery, natural beauty, and history into a single, unforgettable journey.”
