Contiki has launched two new small-group adventures offering a more immersive way to explore Southeast Asia.

‘Ride Vietnam’ and ‘Ride Cambodia’ see guests aged 18 to 35 swap traditional coaches for Vespas, motorbikes and tuk tuks.

Tom O’Hara, Contiki Head of Brand, said young travellers were moving beyond the standard highlights and seeking deeper connections with destinations.

“These new trips deliver exactly that – exploring Vietnam by Vespa and motorbike or Cambodia by tuk tuk – a small group of like-minded travellers can be sharing meals with locals, staying in family-run accommodation and discovering off-the-beaten-track towns and villages,” Mr O’Hara said.

‘Ride Cambodia’ spans eight days exploring the country entirely by tuk tuk, from the temples of Siem Reap to the streets of Phnom Penh.

Highlights include sunrise at Angkor Wat, overnight homestays at Kampong Khleang on Tonle Sap Lake and visits to Tuol Sleng Prison and Choeng Ek. Groups are capped at 14, with prices starting from $2,330 per person.

‘Ride Vietnam’ covers six days across Central Vietnam by Vespa and motorbike, weaving through memorable landscapes and hidden backroads.

The itinerary includes an evening food tour through the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An, a countryside ride past rice paddies and artisan villages and a full-day crossing of the legendary Hai Van Pass. Groups are capped at 16, with prices starting from $1,715 per person.

Both trips are available to book now, with travel beginning in November.
