Tasmanian Walking Company has officially launched the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Signature Walk, marking the 15th addition to the Great Walks of Australia collection.
The five-day, 54km experience connects Kata Tjuṯa to Uluru across a 500-million-year-old landscape and introduces a new cultural offering to the premium walking category.
Brett Godfrey, Tasmanian Walking Company co-owner, said the product represents a rare opportunity for travel advisors.
“This is the first new long-distance, overnight walk inside a national park brought to market since the Three Capes Track opened over a decade ago,” he added.
“That creates a genuine opportunity to sell a high-value, commissionable adventure that is both new and exciting. Early demand has been driven by repeat walkers and experienced adventure travellers.”
The walk has a limited capacity of just 16 guests per departure and a defined season running from April through to September.
“There’s a clear advantage for travel advisors to secure early spots for adventure clients,” added Godfrey.
The walk has been developed in close collaboration with Anangu Traditional Owners, ensuring cultural integrity and long-term community benefit.
Tapaya Edwards, Steering Committee Chair, said the walk will be a standout.
“People will come here and feel the land as they walk through it and know that the land has been here for thousands of years. The walk is going to blow their mind.”
The Uluru-Kata Tjuta Signature Walk includes 38km of newly mapped trails, offering a new way to experience one of Australia’s most recognisable landscapes. It is priced from $5,395 per person twin share.
