Holland America Line has kicked off its 2026 Alaska season with the arrival of Eurodam to Seattle, launching more than 100 voyages across six ships through September.
Robert Morgenstern, Holland America Line Senior Vice President Alaska Operations, said every detail of the season was aimed at helping guests truly connect with the destination.
“From new shore excursions and enhanced programming to our industry-leading fresh fish offerings, every detail of our 2026 season is designed to help guests connect more deeply with Alaska’s natural beauty and cultural heritage,” Mr Morgenstern said.
Twenty-five new shore excursions debut this season, including a floatplane, paddle and hike adventure to Norris Glacier in Juneau, a remote coastal rainforest hike with a gourmet seafood picnic in Kodiak and a moose discovery experience in Anchorage.
Each sailing features a dedicated Glacier Day with scenic commentary, presentations, Dutch pea soup on deck and Glacial Ice cocktails, alongside talks by Glacier Bay National Park Rangers and Huna cultural interpreters.
Holland America also offers a Glacier Guarantee, providing a future cruise credit equal to 15 per cent of the cruise fare if a glacier is not visited.
The line’s global fresh fish program continues to bring locally sourced Alaskan seafood from port to plate in under 48 hours, with premium dishes created by Fresh Fish Ambassador Chef Masaharu Morimoto.
Holland America is also the only cruise line to hold Certified Seafood International certification for serving sustainable, traceable wild Alaska seafood.
Itineraries range from a seven-day ‘Alaska Explorer’ roundtrip from Seattle to a 28-day ‘Legendary Arctic Circle Solstice’, with departures from Seattle, Vancouver and between Vancouver and Whittier.
Cruise tours ranging from nine to 17 days include visits to Denali National Park and, exclusively through Holland America, the Yukon.
