Members of the travel trade and media have taken the opportunity to engage with luxury operators from around the world during a recent visit Down Under.
Global sales representation company Plateau International brought 11 clients to Australia for the visit.
Clients came from across boutique hotels and island resorts, tailored safaris, small luxury cruise lines and destination management companies to connect directly with more than 65 travel media and 350 trade partners.
Representatives included The Sanchaya on Bintan Island, LABA LABA luxury lodges and safari camps in Tanzania, Traveline Tourism (Egypt), Assam Bengal Navigation (India), Lotus Cruises (Vietnam & Cambodia), Shems Incoming Morocco and DiVita (Europe).
In addition, Wakaya Private Island Resort & Spa in Fiji and Capofaro Resort in Italy visited Australia for the first time, meeting travel media, luxury advisors and trade partners at exclusive events in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Marco Rosa, Plateau International Founder and Managing Director, shared his trend- and data-driven outlook for 2026 with attendees, positioning the recent roadshow as a powerful platform to deepen existing partnerships and create new opportunities.
