Fiji Airways has announced the reinstatement of its direct service between Nadi and Nouméa from September 22.
The new service will operate twice weekly every Tuesday and Friday aboard its regional subsidiary Fiji Link’s ATR 72-600 aircraft.
The move will open up more than 10,000 additional seats annually between Fiji and New Caledonia and strengthen Pacific connectivity for travellers on both sides.
“New Caledonia is a stunning destination and an important market for Fiji Airways,” said Paul Scurrah, Fiji Airways MD & CEO.
“Reinstating this service creates exciting new opportunities for travellers, whether visiting Fiji for our world-renowned hospitality or exploring the unique French Pacific culture of Nouméa.
“With more than 10,000 additional seats opening up annually, this is a significant boost for tourism, trade and people-to-people connections across our region.”
The Nadi–Nouméa route also connects seamlessly onto Fiji Airways’ growing international network, providing travellers with onward connections across the Pacific, New Zealand, United States and Canada.
