Huma Charity Challenge, one of several specialist brands within the World Expeditions Travel Group portfolio, creates purpose-driven adventures that connect travellers with the causes they support.

With World Expeditions pioneering trekking in Nepal since 1975, the Himalaya has long been central to the business, making the Australian Himalayan Foundation’s 25th anniversary a fitting milestone to celebrate.

Sue Badyari, CEO of World Expeditions Travel Group, said adventure travel has the power to create meaningful, lasting impact.

“These journeys are about much more than reaching spectacular destinations,” she added.

“They allow travellers to experience the Australian Himalayan Foundation’s work first hand while contributing to projects that continue to improve lives across the Himalaya. It’s a powerful reminder of how travel can be a force for good.”

Both departures include opportunities to visit AHF-supported initiatives, allowing participants to experience the Foundation’s work in education, health, conservation and community development first hand.
