More than 30 Antarctic departures will be offered during the 2028 to 2029 PONANT season aboard Le Boréal, Le Lyrial, Le Soléal and Le Commandant Charcot.
Voyages will operate from November 2028 to February 2029.
A 10-night Antarctic Peninsula itinerary includes accommodation in Buenos Aires, return flights to Ushuaia and transfers.
Activities may include Zodiac excursions and shore landings, with opportunities to observe penguins, seals, whales and seabirds.
Longer expeditions will combine Antarctica with Patagonia, the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, the Valdés Peninsula and New Zealand’s Subantarctic Islands. Three departures from Timaru will also explore the Ross Sea and surrounding remote regions.
Le Commandant Charcot will operate voyages to the Weddell Sea, Bellingshausen Sea and Marguerite Bay. Activities include hiking, snowshoeing, ski touring and landings on sea ice, with emperor penguin sightings possible on selected itineraries.
The ship is also scheduled to complete a 60-night circumnavigation of Antarctica from January 11, 2028. The Ushuaia round trip will cover almost 23,000 kilometres, with separate 31 day sectors available between Ushuaia and Hobart.
