Chile will reconnect with Australia’s travel industry through its first local trade roadshow since 2019. Complimentary events will be held in Melbourne on August 11 and Sydney on August 13.
A delegation of 14 Chilean tourism companies will meet retail travel advisors and present new products, itineraries and experiences. Destination updates will cover Patagonia, the Atacama Desert, wine regions, cities and cultural attractions.
Cristóbal Benítez, SERNATUR National Director, said the events would help strengthen industry partnerships and give advisors greater knowledge and confidence when recommending Chile to clients.
Each evening will include supplier networking, destination presentations, Chilean food and wine and an interactive quiz. Prizes will include return LATAM Airlines flights, hotel stays and travel experiences in Chile.
The Melbourne event will run from 6pm to 9pm at Pullman Melbourne on the Park. The Sydney session will take place from 6pm to 9pm at Pier One Sydney Harbour. Registration is required as places are limited.
