KrisShop has launched in Australia, making the country its first overseas market and giving local KrisFlyer members more ways to earn and redeem miles without booking a flight.
The Australian website offers nationwide delivery and lower domestic shipping fees, with products spanning electronics, homewares, beauty, fashion and gifts. Participating brands include Bose, Dyson, Smeg, Samsung, Antler and Pandora Australia.
KrisFlyer members earn 1.5 miles for every $1 spent, while those who join KrisShopper can earn between two and four miles per $1. Members can also pay using cash, miles or a combination of both, with 100 miles valued at $1 and a minimum redemption of 1,000 miles.
Eligible purchases can also earn non air status credits towards retaining or attaining KrisFlyer Elite status and PPS Club membership. Miles are credited within five business days, excluding amounts paid for taxes, delivery fees and duties.
Launch offers during August include 20% off sitewide when redeeming miles from August 14 to 27, bonus miles from August 4 to 18 and selected product discounts throughout the month.
