Finalists have been announced for the 2026 National Travel Industry Awards’ voted business categories after more than 21,000 votes were cast by over 2,200 industry participants.

The voting covered 13 categories recognising businesses and teams across touring, wholesale, tourism, accommodation, aviation, cruising, car rental, reservations and travel support services.

Categories include Most Outstanding Tour Operator in specialised and global touring, Most Popular Tourism Office, Most Popular Accommodation Group or Chain and separate awards for online and offline airlines.

Ocean and river cruise operators are also recognised, alongside wholesalers focused on products, services, destinations and experiences. Other categories cover car rental operators, reservations and groups teams and travel support services.

Dean Long, ATIA CEO, said participation in the awards continued to grow each year and showed the travel community’s strong engagement with the programme.

“The finalists for 2026, and what they achieved this year, represent the highest standards of passion, professionalism and dedication in the travel industry,” Mr Long said.

The winners will be revealed at Crown Melbourne on October 10, when the Australian travel industry gathers for the annual NTIA ceremony. The full list of finalists is available through the awards programme website.
