Travel advisors across Australia will have the chance to test their axe throwing skills as part of a new trade roadshow supporting the launch of Princess Cruises’ 2028 Alaska season.
Events will be held in Brisbane and Adelaide on August 25, Sydney and Perth on August 26 and Melbourne on August 27. Each session will include an Alaska destination update, food, drinks and a friendly competition inspired by Ketchikan’s lumberjack culture.
The roadshow also supports a booking incentive offering 10 travel advisors a place on an Alaska famil in May 2027. The trip is being delivered in partnership with EVA Air and Washington State Tourism.

The famil will include return flights, accommodation in Seattle and a seven night cruise aboard Star Princess.
To enter, advisors must book an eligible Princess Alaska cruise between August 16 and October 12, then explain in 25 words or fewer what most excites them about cruising Alaska with Princess.
Nick Ferguson, Princess Cruises Senior Director Sales and Marketing, said the events were intended to help agents better understand the destination before recommending it to clients.
“We know the best advocates are those who’ve experienced the destination firsthand, and we’re excited to help more agents discover why a Princess Alaska cruise is one of the world’s most unforgettable holiday experiences,” Mr Ferguson said.
Advisors can register their interest through their Princess Cruises Business Development Manager. Places at each event are limited.
