Luxury Travel Collection (LTC) has welcomed Deryk Neighbour, Founder of Luxury Travel Planner, as the inaugural member of The Club by LTC.
The new invitation-only membership has been created exclusively for high-performing independent luxury travel advisors.
With more than 16 years in travel and a client portfolio spanning some of Australia’s most discerning high-net-worth travellers, Mr Neighbour (main image) brings impressive luxury credentials to The Club.
His recent work includes designing a bespoke Japan itinerary valued at more than $1 million and speaks to a reputation for crafting impressive itineraries accessed only through the personal connections he has built over his career.
Nikki Glading, LTC General Manager, said Mr Neighbour’s appointment reflects both the calibre of advisor The Club was created for and an exciting growth opportunity for LTC, which has already grown its membership by more than 50% this year, with further members set to join The Club in the coming months.
“Some of the industry’s best advisors are choosing to build businesses on their own terms, while still wanting the strength, access and opportunities that come from being part of something bigger. The Club brings those two worlds together,” added Ms Glading.
“We couldn’t ask for a stronger inaugural member and this is just the beginning.”
Created in response to the evolving luxury travel landscape, The Club gives invited advisors access to the full LTC ecosystem, including its global luxury partner network, curated product and experiences, enhanced commercial opportunities, bespoke marketing and exclusive events, while allowing them to retain the independence and identity of their own businesses.
Entry is strictly by invitation, with prospective members assessed against criteria including luxury expertise, commercial performance, entrepreneurial leadership and client advocacy.
Mr Neighbour founded Luxury Travel Planner to create highly personalised journeys for discerning travellers, combining deep industry relationships with meticulous service and access that extends well beyond the booking itself.
“Luxury is about access. It’s about knowing the people who can unlock experiences that simply can’t be booked online,” Mr Neighbour said.
“I’ve built my business around creating journeys that are completely tailored to every client, whether that’s securing a table at Bar Centifolia in Japan, an evening at Girafe in Paris, or planning a once-in-a-lifetime itinerary from start to finish.
“The Club allows me to retain everything that’s important about running my own business while gaining access to an even wider network of exceptional partners, experiences and opportunities for my clients. It feels like a very natural fit.”
The appointment marks the first chapter in the growth of The Club, with LTC set to welcome further high-performing independent advisors into the invitation-only community over the coming months.
