A new 11-day expedition cruise will explore Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and the remote islands of Wallis and Futuna in March 2027, combining wildlife, cultural encounters and time on lesser visited islands.
‘Tropical Islands of Fiji, Samoa & Tonga Cruise’ from Heritage Expeditions will operate round trip from Fiji from March 14 to 24, with a 20% discount available for early bookings.
Aaron Russ, Heritage Expeditions Commercial Director and Expedition Leader, said the itinerary was designed to combine better known South Pacific destinations with islands and atolls that receive fewer visitors.
Highlights include the limestone islands of Fulaga, Bouma National Heritage Park, Tafua Rainforest Reserve, Palolo Deep Marine Reserve and Swallows Cave, along with visits to Wallis and Futuna.
Wildlife encounters may include Samoan flying fox, Fijian monkey-faced bat and endemic birdlife such as the Taveuni silk tail, Mao, Samoan Island thrush and Tooth-billed pigeon.
Cultural experiences will also form part of the voyage, including village visits, Samoan Taualuga dance, Fiji’s Meke, traditional kava ceremonies and local markets.
Guests will also have opportunities for snorkelling, reef exploration and guided walks through rainforest and coastal environments.
The 20% booking discount applies to the March 2027 departure when booked by October 30, subject to terms and conditions.
