Regent Seven Seas Cruises is celebrating their sixth annual Travel Advisor Appreciation Month with a series of Destination Discussions.

These events, which will change weekly, will be supported by an online marketing toolkit – all designed to help travel advisors stay informed and support their discussions with clients.

The short expert-led discussions will uncover destinations alongside relevant voyages and included shore excursions across Japan, Monaco, Italy and Canada.

Regent has partnered with tourism boards to deliver this informative destination series which goes beyond the well-known sights to uncover the stories, flavours and experiences that make each destination worth discovering.

“We love hosting Travel Advisor Appreciation Month and truly value the unwavering support we receive from our travel partners,” said Lisa Pile, Managing Director, Luxury Group, Asia Pacific, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

“These easy-to-access destination discussions and marketing toolkits are our way of saying thank you to all of them. We hope it will help them turn travel inspiration into future bookings and revenue from their clients.”

Starting today (Nov 3), travel advisors can listen to destination-specific, expert-led discussions via a short, pre-recorded video.

From local food and fascinating history to unforgettable experiences, each discussion will come with a ready-to-use marketing toolkit to help travel partners turn destination inspiration into bookings.

Kicking off the series, Steve Odell, Global Luxury Brand Ambassador at Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Harriett Bougher, Business Development and Senior Assistant Marketing Manager at the Japan National Tourism Organisation, will uncover the fascinating story of Nagasaki.

They’ll discuss Japan’s unique international heritage, historic trading quarters and explore how advisors can bring these experiences to life for clients travelling with Regent.

Future episodes will include:

Monaco and Monte Carlo, November 10. Steve Odell is joined by Clair Neil, Regional Manager AU and NZ for Tourism Monaco, as they take a fresh look at Monte Carlo (above) and Monaco.

They will go beyond the superyachts and famous race circuit to reveal more than 700 years of history, character-filled neighbourhoods and the area’s distinctive local gastronomy.

Bari, Italy, November 17. Featuring Anji Montgomerie, Senior Business Development Manager for Regent, and Emanuele Attanasio, Country Manager for the Italian National Tourist Board.

They will explore Bari’s authentic traditions, from walking through narrow streets where locals make orecchiette pasta by hand to discovering the seafront promenade and ancient churches.

Quebec City, Canada, November 24. This session will be led by Stacey Hill, Business Development Manager for Regent, and Nathan McLoughlin, Destination Canada.

Travel advisors will explore the European side of Canada as they take advisors on a tour of the fortified streets of old Québec City (main image) and showcase the majesty and scale of Montmorency Falls.
