During May and June Air Canada’s team will produce eight, 15-minute webinars offering Australian agents concise updates on a broad range of topics.

These include everything from new branded fares and inflight services to airport lounge developments and a product deep-dive featuring a live broadcast from on board an Air Canada Dreamliner.

The live webinars will run twice each day (at 8:30 am and 11:30 am (AEST)) every Thursday, with Air Canada staff then available to take questions.

Vic Naughton, Air Canada General Manager Australia and New Zealand, says the short-duration webinars will allow time-poor agents to rapidly and efficiently upskill.

“We recognise that the time pressures on our agency partners mean that training initiatives today have to be concise, focused and interactive,” said Naughton.

“They also need to address issues that are specifically relevant to Australian travel agents.

“Our new series of 15-minute webinars ticks all of these boxes, while also giving agents a chance to connect directly with Air Canada’s key team members in Australia.”

Agents who register for the mini webinars – and watch all the live sessions – will automatically go into the draw to win two Air Canada tickets.

“The lucky winner will have the opportunity to experience first-hand everything they’ve learned about by flying to any destination they choose on Air Canada’s extensive North American network.”
