This marks a significant continuation in the company’s journey towards fostering a reconciled Australia.

As Reconciliation Week approaches on May 27, the travel group is demonstrating its commitment to reconciliation through its RAP, which outlines the company’s dedication to creating lasting, meaningful connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities across Australia.

At its core reconciliation is about building relationships based on trust, respect and mutual understanding.

AAT Kings is committed to strengthening these relationships by fostering cultural awareness, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment, and ensuring genuine engagement with communities on the lands where it operates.

The group has worked closely with Aboriginal communities for more than 50 years and this new Innovate RAP is a natural evolution of the company’s ongoing efforts as it focuses on the key pillars of Relationships, Respect and Opportunities.

The company’s touring experiences will continue to provide guests with authentic, immersive encounters with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, ensuring that every journey is a meaningful discovery of the land and its people.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, a significant milestone in our journey towards reconciliation,” said Ben Hall, CEO of AAT Kings Group.

“Our RAP reflects our commitment to fostering strong, respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and supporting the cultural, social and economic opportunities of these communities.

“At AAT Kings, we’re not just explorers of landscapes; we’re committed to exploring and understanding the cultures and histories that have shaped this country.

“We are excited to continue our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners, ensuring that these cultures are represented and celebrated within our business and for our guests.”
