Travel industry professionals and their guests came together for a special screening of the popular movie hosted in Sydney by Hawaii Tourism Oceania and Hawaiian Airlines.
Guests heard from Alba Aradillos (Hawaiian Airlines), Maria Alaveras (Outrigger Hospitality Group) and Anna Riedel (Hawaii Tourism Oceania), who each shared updates.
These included what’s new in the air and on the ground in Hawaii to the filming locations featured in the new Walt Disney live-action release of Lilo & Stitch.
The highlight of the evening was a prize draw, awarding one lucky attendee a dream Hawaii getaway.
Matthew Nixon from Flight Centre Darlinghurst walked off with two return airfares from Sydney to Honolulu with Hawaiian Airlines, three nights at Outrigger Waikīkī Beachcomber Hotel and two tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s Auana.
Hawaiian Airlines is also celebrating the release of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, with playful new looks in the skies.
Travellers can now spot Stitch striking his best Pualani profile on Hawaiian’s Airbus A330 aircraft, the first of three specially designed liveries.
Hawaiian will shortly introduce its second livery design – a narrow-body Airbus A321 covered in Stitch’s wildly creative masterpiece – with the third design on Hawaiian Airline’s Boeing 717 to be revealed next month.
