MSC Cruises have revealed new details about the line’s new flagship set to begin sailings in the Mediterranean next year.
MSC World Asia will set sail on December 11, offering guests a mix of favourites and new concepts and venues.
These include the longest dry slide at sea and new experiences and features in the World Promenade.
As the third ship in the line’s World Class series, MSC World Asia will feature subtle design elements that reflect Asia’s rich culture, art and landscapes.
Like her sister ship, she will also feature seven onboard districts, each with its own atmosphere, facilities and experiences, designed to help guests navigate the ship and choose their own holiday experience.
MSC World Asia will sail seven-night itineraries in winter 2026/27 and summer 2027 calling at cities such as Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome and Valletta.
Among the new facilities will be a Pan-Asian specialty restaurant featuring a variety of food and drink experiences, a dedicated bar and an inviting outdoor terrace.
It will focus on Southeast Asian cuisine, including flavours from Singapore, Thailand, Laos, South China, Vietnam and Indonesia.
The Spiral Dry Slide is set to be the longest of its kind at sea at more than 81 metres. The eye-catching, signature architectural feature of MSC Cruises’ World Class ships offers a ride that lets guests glide between 12 decks in seconds.
The new design will be inspired by the trees in Singapore’s famous Gardens by the Bay.
