The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) has opened ticket sales for its Christmas lunch.

The much anticipated event returns on December 4 at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park.

Known for bringing together the who’s who of the Australian travel trade, the annual lunch is a chance for tour operators, wholesalers, travel agents, tourism boards and industry media to come together, reflect on the year and raise a glass before the holiday season kicks in.

This year’s theme is “Merry & Bright” and guests are encouraged to dress the part.

Expect a fun, feel-good afternoon with great food, premium drinks, lively entertainment, loads of prizes, an after-party and a room full of industry friends.

The Christmas Lunch has become one of our most popular events – it’s festive, relaxed and a great way to catch up with colleagues and partners before the year winds down,” said Brett Jardine, CATO Managing Director.

“The ‘Merry & Bright’ theme really says it all – we’re planning an upbeat, colourful celebration to end 2025 on a high.”
