QantasLink’s inaugural flight from Perth to Busselton has touched down, marking the start of the newest direct service into the Margaret River region.

Operating Monday, Friday and Sunday on the airline’s F100 fleet, the route launches just in time for the school holidays and will provide more than 31,000 seats each year between the two destinations.

Sale fares are available from $129 one-way as part of Qantas’ Great Aussie Adventure Sale on now.

QantasLink’s latest service will make the Margaret River region more accessible for travellers from other capital cities including Brisbane and Adelaide, as well as international visitors connecting through Perth.

South-west residents can also make the most of one-stop options to Europe through Qantas’ growing western hub, with direct flights from Perth to London, Paris and Rome on a seasonal basis.

The Busselton launch is the latest in a series of network updates for QantasLink as it continues to expand its network and improve connectivity across the country, with new direct services from Perth to Newcastle and Hobart also taking off in September.

“This new route to Busselton makes one of Australia’s premier wine and tourism destinations more accessible than ever before and we’re proud to play our part in supporting the local tourism industry and operators,” said Rachel Yangoyan, CEO QantasLink.

“For local residents, this means saying goodbye to the long drive, traffic and parking headaches, and saying hello to three convenient weekly Qantas flights between Busselton and Perth,” said Mayor Phill Cronin, City of Busselton.

Sale fares are for various travel dates between August and March 2026 with select blackout periods and are available until 11.59pm (AEST) June 30 unless sold out prior.
