Viking have hosted travel advisors at the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra’s third concert series for 2025.

The cruise company celebrated its continued partnership with the orchestra, Australia’s national Baroque ensemble, by hosting travel advisors from Brighton Travelworld, FBI Travel, Hawthorn Travel, RACV & Travelrite International at the Melbourne premiere of Baroque Unleashed at Melbourne Recital Hall.

The Baroque Unleashed concert series provided travel advisors with a unique opportunity to enjoy privileged access to the orchestra.

During this experience, orchestra members guided the advisors on an inspiring journey through the vibrant and electrifying world of Baroque music, featuring a performance preview held in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Now in its second year, Viking’s sponsorship helps support the ambitious and innovative goals of the orchestra, who are critically acclaimed in the global classical music scene.

The Brandenburg is an important cultural partner for Viking, providing culturally immersive performances and money-can’t-buy experiences that aim to deepen the partnership and align perfectly with Viking’s travel partners.

In other news, the cruise company has just taken delivery of its newest ocean ship, the Viking Vesta, at a ceremony in Ancona, Italy.

The Viking Vesta has 499 staterooms that can host 998 guests and will spend her inaugural season sailing itineraries in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

“As we continue to expand around the world, we are pleased to offer curious travellers new options for exploring in Viking comfort,” said Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking.
