A record number of Mobile Travel Agents (MTA) travelled to Singapore recently for International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) 2025.
Some 39 advisors from the company took part in the four-day luxury travel showcase from June 30 to July 3.
Collectively, the group held more than 2,300 meetings, reflecting the strength of MTA’s global luxury travel connections and continued focus on premium products.
ILTM Asia Pacific is widely regarded as one of the most important global events for luxury travel, bringing together approximately 650 agents, 650 luxury travel brands and 70 international editors.
For MTA Advisors, who each run their own independent businesses, ILTM offers invaluable opportunities to connect with top-tier suppliers across personalised stays, private islands, ultra-luxe cruises, hotel collections and highly specialised DMCs.
Beyond the trade floor, MTA Advisors attended invitation-only lunches and dinners hosted by suppliers, providing intimate opportunities to explore new products, destinations and foster new relationships.
Karen Merricks, co-founder of MTA – Mobile Travel Agents, said that ILTM remains a key event for strengthening global partnerships and supporting advisor growth.
“ILTM Asia Pacific continues to be an incredibly valuable platform for our advisors to deepen their relationships with key global partners and stay ahead of emerging luxury travel trends,” Ms Merricks said.
“We’re proud to have had a record 39 advisors represent MTA this year, a testament to the strength, professionalism and ambition within our network. It’s opportunities like this that elevate the advisor experience and ultimately deliver better outcomes for our clients.”
A standout highlight for attending advisors was the ILTM Plenary Session, where advisors were immersed in forward looking travel trend forecasting, helping inform and future-proof their business strategies.
Sarah Day, MTA Travel Advisor said she was thrilled to attend ILTM this year, calling it a fantastic chance to connect with suppliers and bring back fresh ideas for clients.
“It was such a buzz being part of ILTM this year, connecting face-to-face with so many global suppliers and picking up fresh ideas for our clients back home,” she said.
“There’s nothing quite like being in the room with the people behind the brands we book every day.”
Many MTA advisors also joined pre- and post-event famils to destinations including the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore.
