AAT Kings has launched its highly anticipated 2026/27 touring season, unveiling an inspiring new collection of immersive experiences across Australia and New Zealand – and offering travellers up to $2,200 per couple in air credit on selected departures.

The new program responds to rising demand for deeper, more meaningful travel, with the tour operator introducing a suite of MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experiences and expanding its Small Group Tour collection – now offered in every corner of New Zealand as well as Tasmania, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia. Each small group departure will average 16 and cap at 24 guests, allowing for more personalised access to off-the-beaten-path experiences.

For clients seeking authentic and hands-on moments – whether it’s cruising under the stars in Milford Sound or walking through 6,600-year-old aquaculture systems at Budj Bim – the 2026/27 season has been crafted to deliver the extraordinary.

New season highlights include:

  • Overnight Milford Mariner cruise with kayaking and waterfall views (NZ itineraries)
  • Budj Bim Cultural Landscape walk, VIC – ancient Gunditjmara aquaculture systems
  • Kungkas Can Cook bush-tucker tasting with Indigenous chef Rayleen Brown, NT
  • Urlar Estate wine tasting in Wairarapa with the owners
  • Luridgii Aboriginal Cultural Tours, WA – Dreamtime stories and native foods
  • Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, Blenheim – WWI & WWII exhibits by Weta Workshop
  • Flinders Island by private flight, TAS – beach-hopping and seafood lunch
  • FORK it FARM, TAS – sustainable charcuterie and Tasmanian wine

New MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experiences include hands-on visits to Templeton Flaxmill in Southland, pounamu (greenstone) carving workshops, and a seasonal bush food experience with a Wudjari guide in Cape Le Grand National Park, WA.

Ben Hall, CEO of AAT Kings Group, said, “Our guests asked for deeper local stories and more flexibility, so we’re rolling out Small Group and Classic Group departures from Tasmania to the Kimberley and right across New Zealand. Every new experience is designed to spark wonder, whether that’s sleeping beneath fiordland stars in Milford Sound or tasting bush tucker with Indigenous food advocate Rayleen Brown.”
