Two exclusive ship inspections were held in Darwin before the week of engagement concluded with a stylish night of footy and networking in Sydney.
They were hosted by Kristina Sambaher, PONANT Explorations NSW & ACT State Manager.
Some 10 key agency partners joined across both events, including representatives from Helloworld (Burleigh, QLD), itravel Group (NSW & WA), Travellers Choice (NSW), Travel The World, Atelier Travel, CruiseHQ and Travel Associates Cronulla.
Across two days, Kristina welcomed agents aboard Le Soléal and Le Jacques Cartier for in-depth ship tours, offering a firsthand look at PONANT’s refined onboard experience.
On Le Soléal, agents explored the wide selection of accommodation categories across all decks before concluding with Champagne and canapés in the main lounge, accompanied by live entertainment. The event showcased the ship’s intimate atmosphere and French-style hospitality.
The following day, Le Jacques Cartier offered another immersive inspection, with a highlight being the visit to the Blue Eye Lounge, a multi-sensory space unique to PONANT’s Explorer-class ships.
The inspection included a walkthrough of all major suite categories and a comparison discussion on design differences between the Explorer and Sistership series.
Topics covered included ship dimensions, Zodiac capabilities, guest capacity (maximum 264), wellness areas, dining concepts and platform features.
Kristina wrapped up the week at ENGIE Stadium, hosting five valued partners: Pamela Spencer from Travel The World, Laurie Head from Atelier Travel, Carina Mullen from CruiseHQ, Danielle Cush from Travel Associates Cronulla and Allan Hopper from Hopperound Cruise and Travel, at the Sydney Swans vs GWS Giants AFL match.
A surprise visit from John Longmire, Executive Director of Club Performance and former Swans coach of 14 years, added a personal highlight, rounding off an energised and memorable night.
