Viking has marked its fourth concert series of 2025 with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra by hosting travel advisors at the premieres of Circa & The Art of Fugue across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. It is the first time the cruise line has hosted a concert series spanning the eastern seaboard.
The collaboration between the Brandenburg and Brisbane-based acrobatic ensemble Circa brought a distinctive multi-artform performance to audiences. Bach’s The Art of Fugue was reimagined with Circa’s striking physicality, blending Baroque music with contemporary acrobatics for a production that challenged the boundaries of both forms.
The concert series also provided Viking with an opportunity to connect with travel advisors and guests in each city, combining cultural experiences with the company’s trademark hospitality.
In Brisbane, Viking welcomed advisors and clients from Clean Cruising and Your Travel Expert, hosted by Helen Mezzen. Melbourne’s event included representatives from Travel Associates, FBI Travel, Travel Avenue, Where 2 Travel, Travel Rite and 303 World Travel, alongside Viking host Trent Campbell. Sydney’s opening night brought together advisors from Travel Associates, itravel Carlingford, FCM Travel and Wentworth Travel with Viking host Lee Siefkin.
Viking’s partnership with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra has now spanned ten concert series across the 2024 and 2025 seasons, providing unique cultural touchpoints for both travel partners and Viking’s loyal guests.
