Saudi Arabia has unveiled a new digital platform, umrah.nusuk.sa, designed to simplify the Umrah pilgrimage process for international visitors. Launched on August 20, 2025, the platform allows users to apply for visas and book essential travel services—including accommodation, transportation, and guided tours—online. This initiative is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy to modernise and enhance religious tourism.
The platform offers a multilingual interface in seven languages and is fully integrated with government networks to expedite visa issuance and service delivery. It provides multiple payment options to support users worldwide, aiming to deliver a seamless experience for pilgrims.
This development aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to increase the number of Muslim visitors and improve service quality through digital tools. The platform serves as an additional option alongside accredited travel agents, giving pilgrims the flexibility to book complete packages or select individual services as needed.
