Following the success of this year’s inaugural tour, the cultural adventure specialist has doubled the number of departure dates for next year.

This 10-day tour is a way for visitors to discover the country’s ancient past, fast-moving modern culture and exceptional food.

Attracting a mix of solo adventurers, couples and families alike, it is the perfect introduction to South Korea for those eager to discover the country’s classic sights along with a slice of everyday local life.

“One moment travellers may be exploring the ceremonial courtyards of Gyeongbokgung Palace, imagining the footsteps of Joseon-era kings, and the next, watching a live K-pop street performance standing among a scrum of mega-fans,” said Rebecca Barry, Inside Travel Group South Korea Product Executive.

“Travellers will see firsthand what’s hot and trending in Seoul, visit coastal Busan with its famous fish markets and seaside temple, and tour the oldest sites of Gyeongju – South Korea’s ‘museum without walls’.

“We’ve kept a day free on each tour for Insiders to showcase whatever’s hottest at that very moment, from niche festivals to emerging pop up bars.”

The departure dates of the tour have also been carefully selected to maximise each distinct season. The small group tour is for a maximum of 14 travellers.

“Our tours are led on the ground by our Insider tour leaders. Our Insiders have chosen South Korea as their home and are fluent in both English and Korean, offering deep knowledge and insight into the destination,” added Ms Barry.

The Soul of Korea tour is now available for booking with departure dates starting from January 2026.

“South Korea is rapidly gathering pace as one of Asia’s most sought-after destinations, and small group travel is one of the best ways to unlock a destination in a meaningful and exciting way,” said Alastair Donnelly, Inside Travel Group Co-founder and Director.
