The showcase invited guests to explore the new flagship property and experience “Living Made Easy” first-hand. Adina Hotels, a homegrown success story with a 20-year history of Australian hospitality, now operates 44 hotels worldwide and is preparing for further expansion into the UK with upcoming openings in Glasgow and Cambridge.
The Adina Townhall Hotel’s transformation was led by Bates Smart Interior Design, with Director Brenton Smith emphasising the partnership between owner, operator and designer in creating “really fabulous outcomes”.
Smith highlighted the hotel’s residential scale and ambience, designed to feel like a “home away from home” where guests can walk in, “put your keys down, and literally exhale”.
Key features include bathrooms with glamorous touches such as vanity lighting and ottomans, kitchens designed for longevity and entertaining, and elegant, spacious rooms that balance sophistication with simplicity. “Good accommodation should be timeless,” Smith said, noting the aim was to create an environment that appeals equally to leisure and corporate travellers.
Guests at the open house were also treated to canapes and tea tastings, before exploring the guest floors and newly designed rooms.
