Club Med has posted record results for the first half of 2025, with Australia emerging as one of the standout growth markets as travellers embrace the brand’s premium all-inclusive offering.
Globally, Club Med achieved a business volume of €1.175 billion in the first six months of the year, a 4 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The company also reported a 17 per cent jump in resort operating income, underscoring the resilience of its upscale strategy.
The Pacific region delivered particularly strong growth, up 16 per cent on last year, with the Australian customer base growing by 8 per cent.
Demand for Club Med’s ski portfolio surged 29 per cent year on year, with Japan’s Club Med Tomamu proving especially popular among Australian families and groups seeking ski holidays with a difference.
Club Med Bali also continued to be a firm favourite with Australians, thanks to its close proximity, broad flight access and appeal to families and multigenerational travellers.
Michelle Davies, General Manager for Club Med Pacific and New ESAP Markets, said the Pacific performance reflects Australians’ appetite for seamless holiday options.
“Our results show that Australians are increasingly choosing Club Med for effortless, all-inclusive experiences. Whether it’s skiing in Japan or relaxing in Bali, our guests value the convenience and quality of our resorts,” she said.
Recent resort enhancements are expected to further strengthen the brand’s appeal to Australian travellers.
The opening of the first Family Oasis in Asia at Club Med Phuket has already boosted sales by 35 per cent, with the dedicated family accommodation, water play zone and snack bar proving a hit with multi-generational groups. Renovations at Club Med Bintan, including refreshed rooms and new dining concepts, are due to be completed by the end of 2026.
For Australians looking for something new, Club Med has several exciting developments in the pipeline.
July 2026 will see the opening of Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari, the brand’s first dual-location resort combining a beachfront stay on KwaZulu Natal’s Dolphin Coast with an exclusive safari experience.
Shortly after, the much-anticipated Club Med Borneo will debut, offering luxury holidays in an untouched natural setting.
With Australian traveller numbers climbing and new product on the horizon, Club Med’s record results signal a strong future for the brand down under.
