The cause holds deep personal significance for CATO, as Managing Director Brett Jardine is courageously facing his own battle with prostate cancer.
Brett’s experience highlights a stark reality: prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, affecting thousands of men and their families every year.
By partnering with PCFA, CATO aims to raise awareness of this important cause and contribute to vital research, early detection initiatives, and support services across the country.
“CATO’s annual Christmas Lunch is about more than coming together as an industry – it’s also about making a difference,” said Dennis Bunnik, CATO Chair.
“By supporting PCFA, we’re helping to shine a light on an issue that touches so many Australian families and backing the life-changing work that PCFA undertakes.”
Funds raised at the event on December 4 will go directly to PCFA. Tour operators are also invited to contribute to the cause through sponsorship opportunities.
A limited number of tickets are still available for the lunch at www.cato.travel.
Enquiries about sponsorship can be directed to cato@cato.travel.
