Aurora Expeditions has launched a new trade program offering earlier commission payments, dedicated advisor rates and expanded sales tools for travel advisors selling its small ship voyages.

Aurora Advisor Advantage was developed following feedback from the trade and includes changes across commission, booking flexibility, product inclusions and digital resources.

Eligible gross commission will now be paid 60 days before a client’s departure, bringing payments forward to support advisor cash flow.

Aurora will also introduce Insider Rates for eligible advisors, friends and family when booking within 120 days of departure. Rates will start from $US300 per person per day, subject to availability and conditions.

David Tanguay, Aurora Expeditions Head of Global Sales, said the program was designed to make expedition cruising easier and more rewarding for advisors to sell.

“Travel advisors are at the heart of our business, playing an essential role in inspiring travellers and guiding them toward the right expedition experience,” Mr Tanguay said.

Clients will also receive additional benefits. From the 2026/27 Antarctic season, premium spirits, cocktails, beer, wine and liqueurs will be included in voyage fares across the fleet.

A new flexible transfer policy allows clients unable to travel after paying a deposit to move their booking to another Aurora voyage departing within 36 months, subject to timing, availability, fare differences and conditions.

Aurora has also expanded its Travel Advisor Hub with a Dates & Rates Tool providing live pricing across cabin categories and availability for optional activities. Searches can be filtered by date, region, season, duration, ship and price.

A new online booking portal for travel advisors is also in development, with launch details to be announced.
