Travel advisors have been putting some of the world’s most sought-after destinations to the test in the first half of 2026.
Personal Travel Managers from TravelManagers have enjoyed famil trips to Sri Lanka, South Korea and the American Southwest, giving them first hand insight to pass on to clients.
“Experiencing a destination first hand enables our PTMs to provide their clients with deeper insights, more personalised recommendations and greater confidence when planning their travels,” said Michael Gazal, Executive General Manager, TravelManagers.
Eight PTMs joined Intrepid for a seven-night Sri Lanka safari combining culinary, cultural and wildlife encounters, including a tea plantation lunch featuring 32 local dishes, a cooking class with a local family and a jeep safari at Minneriya National Park in search of elephants, leopards and sambar deer.

Six PTMs travelled to South Korea in May with Inside Asia, exploring the country’s rich blend of tradition and modernity.
Highlights ranged from a traditional hanok stay in Gyeongju and a calligraphy class to Seoul’s famous Myeongdong shopping district and the city’s famous Lantern Exhibition.
PTM Kari Boys experienced Canyon Spirit’s Rockies to Red Rocks rail adventure in April, travelling from Denver to Salt Lake City in custom-designed panoramic glass-dome carriages. Off-train adventures included a sightseeing tour of Utah’s Arches National Park.
