Philippine Airlines is boosting capacity for its Melbourne–Manila service to daily operations beginning November 20.
Upgraded from five weekly flights, the move to daily service adds vital capacity to Melbournians and Victorians, providing holidaymakers, business travellers and visiting families with maximum flexibility during the high-demand summer peak.
The schedule expansion forms a core part of PAL’s global network strategy.
Engineered for seamless transfers at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the daily timetable offers fast, convenient one-stop connections to key destinations across Asia, North America, and the Middle East.
The expanded schedule provides convenient connections via Manila to PAL’s network across Asia, including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul (Incheon), and key destinations in Japan such as Tokyo (Narita and Haneda) and Osaka (Kansai).
This makes PAL an attractive option for Australians travelling for the Northern Hemisphere ski season, as well as broader holiday and business travel across the region.

The capacity increase also coincides with a major milestone for the carrier. On September 10, Philippine Airlines marks 55 years of continuous service to Melbourne, having first launched flights to Victoria in 1971.
