HX Expeditions has launched a limited-time offer to mark its 130th anniversary alongside new fleet enhancements for 2026.
The offer provides an extra 5% off cabins and 10% off suites on top of existing anniversary offers. It applies to new bookings made from September 1 to November 9 for selected departures between October 1 and March 31, 2028.
The promotion spans selected expeditions across destinations including the Arctic and Antarctica, with availability varying by sailing.
At the same time, HX is rolling out a number of changes designed to simplify the guest experience before and during an expedition.
A new personalised pre-departure journey provides guests with information tailored to their individual booking, sailing and cabin. This includes a bespoke PDF and digital landing page bringing voyage details together before departure.
A new HX app has also been introduced aboard MS Fridtjof Nansen, MS Roald Amundsen, MS Fram and MS Spitsbergen.
Guests can use it to access daily programs and expedition updates, make restaurant reservations and browse or book excursions.
Dining flexibility has also been expanded aboard MS Fridtjof Nansen, MS Roald Amundsen and MS Spitsbergen through a new 24 hour Grab & Go service offering breakfast bowls, sandwiches, savoury snacks and other light meals.
Wellness and retail additions include a partnership with Austrian skincare brand Vinoble Cosmetics, with spa treatments available aboard MS Fridtjof Nansen and MS Roald Amundsen and selected products offered across four ships. Suite guests will also receive a selection of products to take home.
Made using recycled materials, travel bags and accessories from Groundtruth are being introduced for purchase aboard the same four vessels.
Stefan Engl, HX Expeditions SVP Guest Experience Operations, said the changes were focused on making the overall journey more flexible and easier to navigate.
“By listening to what our guests value most, we’re making expeditions more seamless, flexible and rewarding at every stage, from booking through to returning home,” Mr Engl said.
The anniversary offer is subject to availability and applies only to selected departures, with single supplements applicable where relevant.
