The newly renovated centre in Ho Chi Minh City provides a safe and vibrant space for learning, play and essential support services.
It has been opened by Blue Dragon, a non-profit organisation which APT Travel Group has supported for many years, contributing through these initiatives as well as ongoing guest giving and staff support, reflecting more than a decade of partnership.
“It’s been incredible to see this space transformed. Our team is ready to welcome children, and the centre will be a safe and supportive environment where they can grow and thrive,” said Michael Brosowski, Founder and Strategic Director of Blue Dragon.
Blue Dragon has a long history of making a tangible difference in the lives of children and young people in Vietnam, including rescuing children from trafficking, providing shelter, returning children to education and offering pathways into employment.
Since its inception, the organisation has:
- Rescued 1,901 people from trafficking
- Provided shelter to more than 2,000 children
- Sent more than 7,600 children back to school and training
- Placed 626 teenagers in employment
- Served nearly 700,000 meals
The Ho Chi Minh City Children’s Centre is a step forward in continuing this work, offering a place where children can feel safe, supported and empowered.
“Supporting initiatives like this is about giving children the chance to thrive. We’re proud to see the difference a safe and welcoming space can make in their lives,” said Lorna Heyward, COO of APT Travel Group.
