Aurora Expeditions will launch its largest European small-ship cruising season next month, with 19 voyages exploring more than 120 ports across the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Northern Europe and the UK and Ireland.
Operating from April to October 2026, the program will sail primarily aboard Douglas Mawson, the company’s newest purpose-built ship, as demand grows for smaller, more immersive travel experiences.

Focus on storytelling and deeper travel experiences
The European season builds on Aurora’s expedition heritage, bringing its focus on storytelling, insight and connection into culturally rich regions.
Each itinerary will feature onboard Master Storytellers, including historians, genealogists and cultural experts. Ashore, all-inclusive “Your Choice” experiences allow travellers to personalise their time through curated excursions.
Highlights across Europe from north to south
Voyages include journeys through Ireland and Northern Ireland, exploring coastal landscapes, castles and folklore, as well as itineraries linking Ireland and Scotland that trace themes of migration and identity.
Further south, itineraries from the Canary Islands to Lisbon explore shared histories shaped by trade and empire, while Southern Europe voyages across the Amalfi Coast, Sicily and Malta highlight ancient cultures and regional traditions.
