Pullman Brisbane Airport has been crowned ‘Best Airport Hotel in Australia and the Pacific’ at the 2026 Skytrax World Airport Awards.

The award marks its fifth win in the past six years and reinforces its status as the region’s benchmark for airport hospitality. It headlined a great result for Accor, which secured five of the top six positions across Australia and the Pacific.

Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport placed third, followed by Novotel Sydney Airport in fourth, Novotel Christchurch Airport in fifth and Pullman Sydney Airport in sixth.

Alex Penklis, Brisbane Airport Hotels Group CEO, said the award reflected the passion and dedication of the hotel’s team.

“From day one, our goal has been to redefine what an airport hotel can be, combining premium comfort, thoughtful design and a seamless guest experience,” Mr Penklis said. “Being acknowledged in such a competitive region reinforces that our approach is resonating with travellers.”

Adrian Williams, Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer, said airport precincts were rapidly evolving into multi-dimensional destinations.

“Today’s travellers expect far more than proximity to the terminal. They’re looking for quality, experience and a sense of place, whether travelling for business, leisure or a blend of both,” Mr Williams said.

Accor has expanded its airport hotel portfolio in the Pacific by 21 per cent over the past two years, now operating 23 hotels across the region.

The network will grow further with the opening of Pullman Perth Airport in 2027, the first hotel within the Perth Airport estate.
