Four Central Coast tourism businesses have been recognised in the 2026 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards, placing the NSW region’s visitor experiences among the highest rated in the world.
Encore by Mingara, Funhaus Factory, Glenworth Valley Wilderness Adventures and Terrigal Sails Serviced Apartments each earned the recognition, which is based on genuine traveller reviews submitted over a 12-month period.
Located around 45 minutes north of Sydney or south of Newcastle, the Central Coast welcomed more than 5.8 million domestic visitors in 2025, who spent $1.8 billion across local businesses.
International visitor expenditure grew 65.7 per cent year on year, with 46,623 international visitors spending $57.8 million across the region in the year ending December 2025.
