Australian travellers now have more ways to extend their Vietnam holiday beyond traditional travel hubs with Vietjet announcing new routes.
The airline has launched its new services connecting Hanoi with Almaty and Prague, as well as Almaty with Prague, expanding its international network across Asia and Europe.
The inaugural ceremonies took place at Almaty International Airport and Václav Havel Airport Prague, with traditional water cannon salutes and cultural performances marking the milestone.
With Vietjet operating flights between Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Vietnam, the new services offer Aussies the chance to connect to Prague’s historic architecture and Almaty’s natural landscapes.
The services operate twice weekly, with round-trip flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using modern Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft. Passengers can choose business and SkyBoss services, featuring attentive hospitality, a diverse culinary selection and an enhanced travel experience.
“The launch of these new routes marks an important milestone in our international network expansion,” said Nguyen Thanh Son, Vietjet Chief Executive Officer.
“Vietjet will continue to expand its services to Europe, making travel between Europe, Australia and Asia more convenient.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors to Vietnam and bringing Vietnamese and international travellers closer to destinations rich in culture, heritage and unique experiences, while supporting the growth of trade and investment.”
