Australian chef Curtis Stone has partnered with Qatar Airways on a new Business Class menu for the Los Angeles to Doha route, expanding the airline’s Signature Guest Chef Series.
The three course menu draws on Stone’s Los Angeles restaurant, Gwen Butcher Shop & Restaurant, and includes lobster cocktail with kimchi mayonnaise, slow cooked beef short ribs with carrot purée and gremolata and a dulce de leche tart.
“Combining my two loves of food and travel, my vision for this menu is to create the perfect mix of luxury and comfort,” Stone said.
“The dishes are built on the very best seasonal ingredients and prepared with real care.”
The collaboration adds another Australian chef to the airline’s inflight dining program. Qatar Airways also works with Ross Lusted, chef and owner of Woodcut in Sydney and Marmelo in Melbourne.
Lusted’s menu is available to First and Business Class passengers departing Australia for Doha and focuses on Australian produce, including seafood and premium meat dishes.
The two partnerships form part of Qatar Airways’ wider Signature Guest Chef Series, which brings specially developed menus from chefs around the world into its premium cabins.
Stone’s menu is available exclusively on the Los Angeles to Doha route.
