A renewed warning for Aussie holidaymakers heading to Bali after another incident involving suspected methanol poisoning.
Ex-pat Andrei Borodin, 32, is fighting for life after being rushed to hospital in Nusa Dua after being found unresponsive in his room by his partner.
The incident comes almost a year after Aussie teens Holly Bowles and Bianca Jones died following a methanol poisoning incident in Laos.
While tests on Mr Borodin returned a negative trace of methanol, doctors say it is the “most likely cause” of his condition.
The Australian government has added a warning about the risks of drinking overseas, with new resources and information for parents added to the Smart Traveller website.
