Princess Cruises has released its most expansive Asia deployment ever, combining its 2027/28 Southeast Asia program and 2028 Japan season in a single reveal spanning 96 departures across 61 itineraries, visiting 55 destinations in nine countries.
Jim Berra, Princess Cruises Chief Commercial Officer, said the 2028 Japan season delivered unprecedented access to the country’s culture and traditions.
“With Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess homeporting in Tokyo for the first time, late-night stays timed to Japan’s most celebrated summer festivals and sailings that visit all four main islands during cherry blossom and fall foliage seasons, we’re delivering unprecedented access to the culture, cuisine and traditions that define Japan,” Mr Berra said.
The 2028 Japan season features 85 departures across 52 itineraries ranging from seven to 29 days, with both ships homeporting in Tokyo for the full season.
Sailings are timed to coincide with some of Japan’s most celebrated festivals including the Aomori Nebuta Festival, Tokushima Awa Odori and the newly added Osaka Bon Odori.
Guests will have access to 19 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and signature 29-day Grand Circle Japan voyages visiting up to 24 ports.
Complementing the Japan program, the Southeast Asia season features 11 departures across nine itineraries of up to 28 days, connecting Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia aboard Diamond Princess.
Highlights include overnight stays in Bangkok, roundtrip Singapore sailings and visits to 29 destinations across nine countries.
Voyages are now on sale with up to $800 in instant savings, a free room upgrade and up to $200 bonus savings per stateroom for Captain’s Circle members.
