From 22 March 2026, families visiting Disneyland Park will be able to step into Bluey’s world when “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” debuts at the Fantasyland Theatre.

Running through the year, the new experience transforms the venue into the grounds of Bluey’s school, complete with a fair day atmosphere that lifts characters and games straight off the screen. It is the first time Bluey has anchored a permanent stage show at a Disney park, underlining just how deeply the Australian series has connected with preschoolers and their parents in North America.

Throughout the day, Bluey and her little sister Bingo will appear live on stage, joined by a troupe of comedic actors and musicians. Together they will bring to life familiar music and playful set pieces inspired by some of the show’s most loved episodes, with live moments that flow straight into interactive games.

Disney’s description promises “songs and games galore”, from musical interludes into fan favourites like Keepy Uppy to call and response moments designed to get kids up and moving, rather than passively watching from their seats.

Beyond the stage, the school fair theme continues into the surrounding space. Families will be able to wander through a life size Gnome Village and Fairy Garden, spotting in jokes and familiar props tied to episodes featuring the Grannies, Chattermax and Unicorse.

Nearby Troubadour Tavern will serve Bluey inspired snacks and “fave foods” that turn the activation into a half day outing, rather than just one show on the park schedule. For parents used to quoting lines from the series at home, there is an obvious appeal in being able to let kids run off steam in a setting they instantly recognise.

For Australian agents, the timing offers a fresh hook to sell Anaheim to young families planning their next long haul holiday. Bluey is already a fixture in Australian lounge rooms via ABC and around the world on Disney Plus, and Disney’s own executives have been clear about why they want her in the parks.

“Bluey has become a household name for families around the world and we are thrilled to bring her story to life in new ways,”

Disney Experiences chairman Josh D’Amaro said when the broader partnership was announced, adding that the company cannot wait to watch young guests “make memories with Bluey in our parks and on our cruises”.

That parks and cruises piece is important for Australian sellers to watch.

While “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” is the headline news for Disneyland in 2026, the character rollout is much wider, with meet and greets and interactive games already joining Disney Cruise Line voyages and theme park activations on the way at Walt Disney World in Florida.

Ludo Studio (credit image above), the Brisbane based team behind Bluey, has talked about working closely with Disney and BBC Studios on “special activations” across parks and ships, signalling that this is more than a one off stunt.

For now, though, the most tangible change is in Anaheim, where the Fantasyland Theatre is closed while the new set goes in. Recent construction photos show cartoony cut out trees and a sky blue backdrop in the show’s distinctive art style, along with permits filed for new signage ahead of opening day.

Once Bluey and Bingo finally bound onto that stage on 22 March, Disneyland will become the latest, and perhaps most high profile, stop on Bluey’s world tour – and another reason for Australian families to put California back on the holiday list.
