Best of the Best has kicked off 2026 with its first luxury advisor dinner of the year, hosting more than 70 of Sydney’s leading high end travel advisors at Ace Hotel Sydney on 5 February.
The evening brought together seven luxury travel partners who shared updates on new developments across hotels, cruising and experiential travel, alongside a three course dinner and paired wines. Interstate advisors also attended, reinforcing the group’s national reach within the luxury travel sector.
Founded 14 years ago by a collective of industry peers, Best of the Best was created to streamline engagement with luxury travel advisors through collaboration rather than competing standalone events. Five founding members remain active within the group today, joined in recent years by cruise partners Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection and Uniworld.
Best of the Best said its focus remains on providing a platform where partners can showcase their strongest offerings while fostering constructive collaboration across the luxury sector.
Looking ahead, Best of the Best will host further advisor events in Melbourne on 28 April, Perth on 5 May and Adelaide on 7 May. The group will also introduce its first Ultra Luxury famil across Europe in 2026, rewarding top performing advisors who drive business to Best of the Best partners.
Supplier updates shared at the Sydney event included major European hotel renovations and openings from Baglioni Hotels and Oetker Collection, the relaunch of COMO Le Beauvallon in Saint Tropez, new wellness developments at COMO Shambhala Estate, significant expansions from Melia Hotels International and Virgin Limited Edition, continued refurbishment at The Legian Seminyak Bali, and fleet and destination growth across Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection and Uniworld. Taj Hotels also outlined new openings, global accolades and its ongoing philanthropic commitments.
Best of the Best said it would continue to explore new collaborative opportunities as demand for differentiated luxury travel experiences continues to grow.
