In partnership with VisitBritain, Infinity Holidays has launched a series of fully bookable self-drive itineraries designed to take Australian travellers well beyond the usual tourist trail.

The four curated routes showcase the best of regional Britain, from the dramatic landscapes of the Scottish Highlands to the medieval towns of Wales and the cultural heartlands of the Midlands.

North East England And Scottish Borders

This route takes in Manchester, York, Durham, Newcastle and Edinburgh, with highlights including Durham Cathedral, Hadrian’s Wall and Alnwick Castle.

The Midlands And Southern Wales

Travellers journey through Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Peak District, with experiences ranging from Cardiff Castle to Shakespeare Country and Dark Sky Wales stargazing.

Scotland: Aberdeen, Angus, Dundee And Edinburgh

This itinerary explores royal palaces, whisky distilleries and the Cairngorms National Park, with stops at St Andrews, Dunnottar Castle and Glenfiddich Distillery.

North West England And Northern Wales

From the Lake District to Liverpool and Snowdonia, this route includes the Beatles Story Museum, Windermere Lake Cruises and the medieval castles of Conway and Harlech.
