The event at the at Shangri-La Hotel gathered prominent figures from the aviation and travel industries, including representatives from the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and Shangri-La Hotels.
Mr Greg Botham, Group Executive Aviation Growth & Group Strategy at Sydney Airport, attended alongside the Sydney Airport team.
Hong Kong Airlines was represented by Mrs Gloria Slethhaug, Assistant President, and Mr Daniel Yuen, Deputy General Manager, Sales & Marketing Centre.
The evening marked the introduction of new air connectivity between Sydney and Hong Kong, with daily flights commencing from June 21.
The launch highlights Hong Kong Airlines’ continued investment in the Australian market and its strategic ambition to grow its footprint across the region.
