Celebrity Cruises has opened bookings for its 2028 Galapagos expeditions, offering more than 50 all inclusive sailings aboard the purpose built expedition ship Celebrity Flora.

The vessel carries just 100 guests and offers seven, 10, 11 and 16 night itineraries through the Galapagos Islands. Designed specifically for the destination, the ship allows travellers to explore one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife environments in small groups.

Each sailing is guided by expert naturalists from the Galapagos National Park. Daily excursions allow travellers to experience the archipelago’s unique biodiversity through activities such as snorkelling with sea lions, kayaking alongside sea turtles and spotting giant tortoises.

Guests also explore volcanic coastlines, dramatic cliffs and remote islands that form part of the protected ecosystem.

Onboard, travellers stay in spacious all suite accommodation and enjoy culinary experiences inspired by local ingredients. Signature moments include the opportunity to sleep under the stars during the ship’s glamping experience on deck.

Some itineraries can also be combined with land journeys in South America. These extensions include visits to Quito in Ecuador as well as destinations in Peru including Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.

Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises, said the Galapagos remains one of the most extraordinary destinations for expedition travel.

The Galapagos is one of the most extraordinary places on Earth, and we are privileged to offer our guests an elevated and intimate way to explore the region on the award winning Celebrity Flora,” Bethge said.

Celebrity Cruises also continues its conservation partnership with the Galapagos National Park through the Rewilding Galapagos initiative, which aims to restore native habitats and is expected to reach 100,000 trees planted by 2028.
